Street Outreach

Our street outreach workers are out on the streets late at night every week – rain, hail or shine – to provide emergency assistance to vulnerable youth, individuals and families.

What do we do?

Every night is different. Our team patrol the streets on foot, carrying basic necessities, and as we encounter those in need, we do whatever the situation requires – whether we’re providing “kindness kits” filled with toiletries, getting warm winter coats and sleeping bags into the hands of those sleeping rough, calling an ambulance, or making sure someone has a safe place to sleep. More than anything, our team are passionate about showing the compassion and love of God to every precious person we encounter.

Our outreach workers are very often the first point of contact for someone who later seeks counselling, family mediation or other assistance.
